I honestly never thought that I would release this song as it was something I created to soley express how I was feeling and to help me understand the thoughts in my head. Every word I wrote was me being open to whats next and every time I listened back to this song I fell in love with music again and the simplicity that it can take to tell a story. So much music these days is big, loud, and filled with so much texture. But for me this song needed to be raw and vulnerable, which was a reason why I wasn't sure if I should release it. I was scared of how little it might seem, how little it might make me feel, but then I realized sometimes the best things in life come from being real and vulnerable. I hope this song is a point of reflection for those fellow hopeless romantics, your story is out there and great things sometimes take time.

Her goal for this single is to raise awareness about mental health and how when one person is suffering from a bad mental state, they tend to take it out on others, including the ones they say that they love. She is very open about her struggles with mental health and wants to be a role model for others out there going through similar situations. “I feel like almost everyone can put themselves in a situation where someone has made them feel this way. When creating this song, I wanted to share that power of finally standing up for yourself and realizing that even though you love someone, you shouldn’t have to deal with them cutting you down to make themselves feel better – KASEION”
